DIY Project Sharing | My Condolences Card by Belle

“Who said sympathy cards couldn’t be pretty as well”.
We recently had a death in the family and I looked at a heap of sympathy cards trying to find one that suited her style and one that she would appreciate. Well I couldn’t find one. So I decided to make one in LOKLiK Idea Studio.

She loved her garden and her tulips. She had many garden arches in her garden and her favorite colour was blue, so that’s where I drew my inspiration from.

I used 210 GSM Cardstock
If you have trouble cutting out the words you can mirror them, this sometimes helps as the machine is normally cutting against the grain of the cardstock. I didn’t have trouble with cutting the words.

I hope you like this project

Aww, that was such a sweet personalization! You can never find a ready-made one so meaningful and so perfectly suited to the person.

Very well thought mirroring the cardstock, as it tears easier in the upper face…

Thank you so much, I agree you can never find a card that’s suitable after you start making your own
