I’m so excited to share my latest papercraft creation with you. I’ve always loved succulents and cacti, but, to be honest, I’m not very good at caring for them. So, I decided to create one that was not only beautiful, but also wouldn’t wither.
This paper cactus is the result of that inspiration. I used colors that convey joy and peace: a vibrant green for the cactus, which highlights its vitality; a sunny yellow for the pot, which evokes warmth; and a delicate pink for the flower, which adds a touch of sweetness.
For this project, I cut all the pieces with my Loklik machine and used 180 gsm cardstock, which gives it a firm and durable structure. The process was a meditation in itself, enjoying every step of folding and gluing to shape this little work of art.
I hope you like it as much as I do. I’d love to read your comments and see your own creations. Thank you for the space and for the inspiration you all share here!
Search my project directly in IdeaStudio as Cactus Papercraft or Ideart Studio and it will appear and make it from there, there are 6 files that will give you this magnificent result.
