My First Box and Score tool project
I the score tool had arrived and I wanted to try it out.
Saw some glitter card in a local store and bought a pack to try it out.
I used one of the simpler 3D boxes in the library.
I rotated the design by 45 degrees to maximise the size on the paper.
The make process was straight forward.
After securing the tabs with double sided tape, the box was complete. The scoring tool had done it’s job.
Having made it, I realised that while a pretty box, the card stock I used was not rigid enough. (Edit: adding a card insert should stiffen the base).
I think I will use this pack of card for shapes to stick on cards.

The scoring tool makes it way easier to get even folds. Hope you have fun with it.

little boxes are great Roger, I have some glitter cardstock but i’ve never been attracted to use it. does it score nicely with the new tool?

It scored and folded well.
The weight of the card was not really rigid enough for a stable box.
Perhaps a card insert would be a solution.

It seems 180gr, is it? At least 240 plus gr would be nice.

Oh and same thing I said on your embossing sharing post. You may change the pics order in the app and here, so the thumbnail can be the actual beautiful box

The pack says 180g. Definitely too flimsy.
I also picked up some shiny metallic card which is 210g. I will try this out soon.

Love the box, it looks great. It’s not the easiest to work with glitter cardstock but you rocked it. I normally use around 300 GSM cardstock for boxes and things
