Hi, new to Loklik and can’t find any info regarding this topic. Is there a way to do Draw and Cut? I have tried multiple times and I have used the same X and Y coordinates to make sure the drawing isn’t moving but still the cutting is not aligned with the lines. I know the Print and Cut function but thought the other method was also possible. Any info regarding this would be great
Hi RuneKC,when configuring the image, first add the painting task, then click on the cutting configuration to add the cutting task. In the task list, prioritize the painting task first, and once finished, proceed to the cutting task. Do not remove the cutting mat in between; otherwise, there may be issues with alignment when refeeding the material.
May I ask if your machine is a Crafter or an iCraft? Would it be possible to take a photo of the machine for reference?
Hi, thank you for the reply, I have done as you described and the drawing is 2 mm lower than the cut in the y axis if I manually move the object after the draw task the cutting is on the line, maybe there is a bug in the software. I use the iCraft cutter.
Hi RuneKC,If you are utilizing a combination of functions such as cutting, drawing, and foil stamping, it is recommended to use the V04 firmware of icraft to ensure there are no alignment issues. The V05 firmware may have inconsistencies in multiple paths, as this version is specifically tailored for cutting smart materials.
A subsequent V06 version will be released by is to address these issues. In the meantime, if you need to resolve this problem, it is advised to revert to the V04 firmware version.
