Hi, is there any way to recover a file? I made a cake topper and when I went to cut it, the machine was cutting incorrectly, so I calibrated it, but when I went back to find the file, it was gone.
Hello, @Madebyyirda. Unfortunately, there’s no way to recover a file. You’ll have to remake the design. It’s best to always save your design fairly often, just in case the software crashes, or you have to back out. With the undo button also having a glitch — to where it doesn’t always take you back to where you want to be — it’s a great idea to save every few minutes. If you don’t want to save often, at least, save before you back out of the canvas. I know it’s heartbreaking to lose a design you’ve spent all day working on. It’s happened to me a couple times. ![]()
However, if you did save it, it should be in the My Zone area, still.
So sad
finally planning to come back posting and loom what happen
Yeah, it’s unfortunate.
It is most definitely sad when you lose all your work. Saving often will save you some heartache. I was happy that I saved, yesterday, because my design somehow got all out of whack after I cut it, and I couldn’t get it back to how it was. I remembered I had saved it before cutting, so I was able to go back to the design I wanted.
