Has anyone experienced being unable to save files in MyZone even though their files are under 5 MB?

Did you add anything to the file after you uploaded it to Idea Studio. It’s strange because the error says its larger than the 5mb

Aside from adding contours, I didn’t make any other changes to the file, so it’s odd that it’s saying the file is larger than 5MB.

It has happen to me uploading a not that large svg and then having to lighten it so that I can save it in My Space. I wanted to share more paper desings in some projects I’m sharing in the beta.
It seems IS is adding weight to the files.

I hope we can save files more than 5MB. What I did now is download the file at around 1.8MB and uploaded it on IdeaStudio and I was able to save it. So now IdeaStudio wants my files to be lower so I can save it:sweat_smile:
I only have a few projects saved on Ideastudio so this should really not be an issue.

Hello!
I was able to resolve my issue. It seems that when I add contours, the file size becomes larger than expected, which prevents it from saving to MyZone. What worked for me was saving the file first without any contours. Once it’s saved, I simply add it back to the Canvas and apply the contours when I’m ready to do the Print and Cut. Hope this helps anyone experiencing the same issue.

great tip, the files should be able to cope with a contour being added. but your workaround is good

I’m hoping they can increase the file saving up to 10mb
