Maybe crafting helped you meet someone special?
Or maybe you have a funny or heartwarming crafting story with a friend?

Hello There… SOOOOooooo I have a bestie is who going thru this thing called being a Mom. Truthly my bestie Maki is being a devoted mom and spends her time with the Fam or the Church fam. So recently she has not had time to explore more work. BUT her work is brilliant… She has a anime style on her art and yet her design work on the fine details of the clothes and dress ruffles are what make her shine. Each poster and print isnt just a picture, they are pieces of art that only HER imagination can capture.
I have a girlfriend that stated doing crafting. She doing decoupage. Very good at it. She got my
Creative juices flowing. Saw the LOKLiK on sale. Always was curious as what it was all about. I got it and have been going crazy with shirts and hats. Last week she admit if I could print letters to put on her wood designs. The bulb in my head lit up. Now off and running.
So printed this for her.
Thank you so much for sharing her story and art with us! I really love her work, it’s not just beautiful, it has such a unique and personal touch that makes it truly hers.
And her journey into motherhood is a lovely story. I wish it brings her a whole new kind of artistic inspiration.
This hits me
So my best friend and I haven’t seen each other for eleven years and we are friends from school
We are both crazy about F. R. I. N. D. S and
Last year I had the chance to send her something from my work with someone who is travelling to our country and of course I chose a Friends theme gift.
She was so crazy about it and I used more than one special vinyl.
I used PUFF htv, heat transfer paper, uv htv and normal htv
The UV Glitter htv changes color from white to pink
I hope you like it
P. S our both names starts with M
Marin and Maya
I made this Frosted Glass Lantern for a family friend with personalized picture of him with my daughter. His name is Tom and he is a Harley guy. He love to ride his bike during summer. I used Adhesive vinyl for the Harley Davidson design and a clear printable adhesive vinyl for picture of him & my daughter.
So my partner and I move around alot because of his work. Because of this I needed to make friends when we moved. I normally would look around for book clubs or sewing clubs or craft clubs that I could join to meet new friends. One town we moved to didn’t have anything like that so I started up the groups myself. So of the friends I made there became friends for life. Even though some moved away and I moved many times since then we have all kept in touch.
These days my crafting bestie is my daughter. I’m so glad I can share my passion for crafting with her. We go to crafting expos and things together as well. She’s a teenager now and I’m so glad we can still have our crafting time together.
So cute… Me and my 2 bestie initial name are M 'N M, I’m Lyka a.k.a. Mary, my 2 besties are Nicole and Melody. However, they’re not my crafting buddies, they are busy with their other work or line of profession… we get along with other interest like tv series, food & travel hahah
I can relate to your story but the only difference between us is I left my country which I have a lots of best friends and friends I left behind ‘coz I started a job here and have family at the USA. I don’t have a crafty buddy here but I would consider my two (2) sister in laws here. They love to do projects with me; the only part we worked together was shopping together for the materials needed for the project and designing part then I’ll do the rest . Great thing that you have daughter with you as your craft buddy; my daughter has different intentions.
My 1st crafting machine was the Loklik Crafter. It wasn’t very popular yet when I had it last Sept 2023. It also didn’t have that many tutorials at that time since it was fairly new in the market… Especially here in my region.
I’ve had a lot of struggles with it but what helped me along the were the friends I met (plus the patience and experimentations ). - The Ka Loka Crafters PH group (with admins @Sabeyneh , @justkraftsph , @timmytation , @Crafted , @Carmel , @misshaven )
We built a Loklik community for our region and now we’re the ones hosting workshops for new loklik crafters. Our common denominator was the Loklik Crafter we’ve been friends since we had our 1st Loklik Cutting machine
