It’s not a greeting card, but attached to a gift from a very close friend, so close many people think we are sisters!
The verse was so poignant, it had me close to tears :hugs:

This is still one of my favorite cards of all time I made. It’s so simple yet it just goes to show what you can create with a little know how and persistence.
See how I made it here.

Ohhh I love this fun Friday!! As most know I lost my mom last year right before Christmas! And I just recently found this card from her from the Christmas before! She gave cards for all holidays! And I am so happy for some reason I had this one stored in a drawer! Loved finding it this year
I have a great idea to preserve it!

I have a crafty friend. She makes the cutest greeting cards. Recently, she made and mailed on to me. It represented our friendship. It was special to me because I know the effort that goes into making greeting cards on the cutting machine. The fact that she took that time ti create it. Then, she mailed it to me. We don’t live far from each other. So, it was a lot of thought and effort put into making me feel special and loves=d

I made a lot of cards, this year, but I think, my Penguin Card is my newest favorite. :penguin: Next, would be my Sweater Weather Card.

I don’t have the original card. This was one we got when I was about 12 and the verse is just silly and catchy enough that it’s stuck with me over all these years.
The cover had Santa and his reindeer flying and said:
If you see a fat man who’s jolly and cute
wearing a beard and a red flannel suit.
And if he is chuckling and laughing away
while riding around in a miniature sleigh
with eight tiny reindeer to pull him along
Inside:
Then let’s face it,
you’re eggnog’s a little too strong.

I don’t have the original love card anymore because I gave it to my boyfriend—who is now my husband—during one of our anniversaries. Back then, love cards were still a thing. You didn’t post on social media about how much you loved someone. When we celebrated our second wedding anniversary, I found it again, and rereading it felt different. You’d end up thinking, ‘Did I really say this to him?’:rofl: It feels a bit corny or over-the-top now. Hahaha

Card wise is hard I think some of my favorites I could remember were ones I made from the dogs like thanks for always letting me ride on your lap and letting me bark at things I don’t like your the best Dad a dog could ask for. And then I printed photos of the dogs.

Here is the card I made for family and friends this year. I used a brand new poinsettia die that I picked up at the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo in September and the sentiment is from a stamp set I got from my cousins craft de-stash. So many people have told me how much they love this card, even my husband said as much and cards mean absolutely nothing to him.

My favorite card & why this card means so much to me…

This card isn’t just festive—it’s a mirror of the love I get to live every day. The words inside speak directly to my heart: the joy, the laughter, the intimacy, and the deep gratitude I feel for the person who sees me fully and loves me completely.

The printed message is beautiful on its own, but the handwritten notes? That’s where the magic lives. “P.S. This is all true!!:heavy_check_mark:” and “Love you from the bottom of my heart!!” aren’t just sweet—they’re affirmations. They remind me that I’m cherished, seen, and celebrated in the most personal way.

This card captures the kind of love that doesn’t need grand gestures—it thrives in the everyday, in the shared smiles, in the quiet moments, and in the sparkle of being together. It’s a gift that doesn’t fit under the tree because it’s already wrapped around my life.
