back in 2016 I got married and that Christmas i made gifts for family and i transferred pictures onto wood and gifted it to those who where in the photo with us. I also made all my center pieces for my tables and all my bouquetâs which I think started my love for crafting once I realized I could do it.
We have a tradition that St Nick brings an ornament for everyone each year. Last Christmas, I made one for my daughter and her husband, and a few extras for other family members. They had a precious picture of my granddaughtersâ hands and feet when she was a few months old. I spent over an hour cleaning up the picture to capture just her hands and feet and sublimated it on a ceramic ornament. I added âUnder the mistletoesâ under the picture and the back side has her name and a caption. My daughter cried when she opened it and it now hangs in Claraâs room all year long.
beautiful!
Wegot this on August 28th, and even though I didnât think Iâd caught the picture, Iâm so happy they shared it on social media! I especially love how itâs arranged.
The best gift Iâve ever made was one of the most meaningful too. When my sisterâs sweet dog Bailey passed away after so many wonderful years, I wanted to give her something to honor that love and memory. I created a memorial piece with Baileyâs picture, a rainbow background, and a heartfelt message.
When I gave it to her, she cried, but it was the good kind of tears, the kind that come from knowing a special bond will never be forgotten. Crafting this gift reminded me that handmade creations arenât just âthings,â they can carry love, healing, and comfort in ways that words sometimes canât.
Iâll always hold this project close to my heart, because it wasnât just about making something beautiful, it was about helping my sister feel Baileyâs presence every day.
Iâve made photo Christmas ornaments. I love making them and the recipients love receiving one of a kind gifts.
my aunt gifted me this drawing she made for me when I was a teen so a little over 2 decades ago⌠it hung on my wall as a poster then later on I had it framed⌠huge fan of Sailor Moon til now ![]()
Before I got my Loklik Crafter last year, I used to do a lot of embroidery.
I made this cushion as a gift for my friends wedding. The fabric was taken from remnants of her actual wedding dress that I managed to acquire from the seamstress without her knowledge and both she and her husband love and cherish it.
I made this plaque for my sister as a âJust becauseâ gift. It all started when I was spending some time at her house. While watching TV one evening I was also testing out different colors to for the foiled flowers. She mentioned that she really loved this color combination I was using so I made a note to make her something with it.
I came up with this design and it seemed so simple in my head. However, after trying to print out the square and the sentiment in the center of the panel on my printer and then ink it without smearing it, I almost gave up! To surprise her, I left it on her bookcase while she was away on a camping trip. It was a fun phone call when she got home! LOL
This is lovely.![]()
Thank you!!
When my grandma passed away my mom told us that a beautiful cardinal came to peck at the window and ever since then when we see a cardinal we say itâs grandma. I made this mug at a tumbler class, and it always reminds me of my grandma!

Beautiful work!
So creative! @Belgica_Kirby
For me, it was creating personalized Christmas ornaments for my friends
. Each one carried their names and even their dogâs name
, because our furry friends are just as much a part of the family. ![]()
It wasnât just about the ornaments themselves, but the smiles, the memories, and the feeling of giving something truly personal and from the heart.
What technique did you use? ![]()
beautiful!
Love It! And itâs trueâ ![]()
