Having only had my LOKLiK Crafter since October, everything I do is new for me and mostly trial and error!
Today, I decided to make a ‘fun’ Christmas t-shirt for hubby.
The design is made up of two different media. Heat transfer vinyl for the word and, as I don’t have a sublimation printer, t-shirt transfer paper for the image.
I started by putting the design together in Idea Studio and using the print and cut setting took a paper printout of the design to use as a guide when it came to placement.
I then took another print from the ‘print and cut’ setting to put the image on t-shirt transfer paper.
On Idea Studio I removed the image so I was left with just the lettering. I them put the HTV (glossy side down) in the correct positions on the cutting mat. Flipped the words and sent it to the machine to cut.
Now with all the elements done, all that was left was positioning them on the t-shirt and heat pressing them in place. Doing the T-shirt transfer first and then the vinyl.
Pretty please with the finished item
