H17 blue heat press A hobbyist look unboxing

Hello fellow crafters I am Judi and crafting is my happy place and me time. I have always loved making things but I have been making sublimation items since 2021. I don’t truly have a business but I like to call my crafting items by Judo crafts. I am more of what they call a hobbyist and do what I like to call crafting for causes making items I can donate at cost so to help raise money for whatever benefit items go to. I enjoy helping others out with crafting issues and have spent plenty of time on video calls with friends figuring out crafting problems. I may not have a business but you would never guess that by my craft room.
I love making items even if it’s making them and having it not turn out I have no qualms about failing so others can learn. So I was super excited to get to be a person to review this H17 press!

Let’s start from the press arriving on the doorstep. My package arrived and it had a black coving like bag on the box. I appreciated the fact you could not tell what was inside the box. I do not have issues with packages going missing but not everyone is that lucky so having it not show what was in the package is nice. Once I removed the shipping covering I was excited to have seen a blue square on my package. Most of my craft items are a shade of blue. It’s a favorite color of mine so I was extra excited. The box itself contains basic information about the press listed on the outside listed clearly in multiple languages.

Opening the box you find a page with QR codes for instructions. On the top there was also a pair of really nice thicker one side fits most heat gloves, the feel of them is super nice and a pleasant surprise. A roll of heat tape (you can never have too much heat tape in your house) Then we find a button jig that would raise buttons so they do not lay flat on the metal plate.

Next we see a phone jig and the pretty blue H17 press and under it a silver envelope peeking out.
Overall the look of the H17 is super nice rounded corner not a big area it takes up it looks super sleek.

When opening it up there is the area items sit so any items made would have to be able to be within the well of a working area so the film can be vacuumed pressed to the blank. About 8in by 4.5in 0.75 in deep.

Here we can look more at the items that came in the H17 box. The button jigs as well as 3 button blanks. The jigs have a nice weight to them and small feet so they sit well in the press.

Here’s a look at the back of the round jigs

The plate that’s a thicker metal that sits in the press for some items. It has small holes that I believe would help with the vacuum like pressing of items.

The sublimation film comes in a nice silver package that can be resealed.

The phone jig has lots of plates to be used for phone cases and each is labeled.

Overall the H17 has a nice sleek look to it and is not to heavy to move it around for when using it so it won’t take a lot of your crafting space. The accessories are all well made and feel like they will last a long time. I believe this press can be a great investment for items you want more then a flat design on getting rid of those white edges giving you items a lasting impression.

I am excited to try this out and make some items like a tarot card phone case design! that will be in my next update so keep an eye out for the H17 blue heat press A hobbyist look first presses with an iPhone
