I have a image that I want to cut with the ideastudio v3.1.0 which is already in svg format and when I go to standard cut idea studio decides to trace the image and takes it from being very clear to having jagged edges. Has any one had the same issue and how did you go around? It as its driving me up the wall. it never used to do this before.

Hi, @Zane_Ali, welcome to the community! Are you using the Standard Cut option from the image editing panel at all? When uploading an SVG, IdeaStudio usually just adds it straight to the canvas, with no need to convert. If you’re clicking the Standard Cut from the Image Editing panel, you don’t need to do that — that’s for converting non-SVGs to SVGs. Just click Make and add your layers to the task list.
Edit: I just uploaded an SVG to the IS, and the Image Editing panel doesn’t pop up. My SVG is clean — before and after clicking Standard Cut on the Make screen. Can you send a pic of the SVG on your canvas before and after it changes? Does it upload cleanly to the canvas at first, and then change after selecting Standard Cut from the Make screen Mode Selection box?
