HTVRONT Auto Press Storage Function

I have the HTVront Auto Press. When it arrived this morning it was in the pressed position.
The brief manual says it has a Storage Function that can be accessed by pressing the Time and Decrease buttons for 3 seconds. I’m holding down the button with the clock and the minus button, but the press doesn’t close. I’ve tried it with the machine turned on and turned off (but still plugged in) and I’ve tried waiting for it to cool completely, still doesn’t happen.

What an I doing wrong?

Which one do you have the first or the 2nd?

It came today. Doesn’t say 2nd on the box, so I assume its the first?

It is this one, but in white.

OK so turn it on then turn the power completely off then turn it on again and Tey pressing the 2 buttons that are supposed to be pressed together.
I had it for 2 years and didn’t know it can be closed until I figured it out here on the community :joy:

I turned it off, unplugged it, waited for the flashing light to go off. Then plugged it in, pressed ON and immediately pressed Clock and Minus, and it closed!

Can you tell from the image if mine is a 1st or a 2nd?

Thanks so much for your help.

Yours is 1st. I didn’t know you can fold it. I don’t have it, though.
