Do you have a link to the generic pens? I have a large set of dual ended fine tip / brush pens that look like the Loklik pen, but they’re just a literal hair smaller than the Loklik pen. I’m thinking about adding a rubber grip from a lead pencil to see if they’ll work that way.

but I do hope you find something compatible. I think other people bring the pen attachment or holder when shopping
Yeah, I understand that. I was just hoping to get the brand name or something so I could look for them online. I do all my shopping online, even grocery shopping. It’s not too big of a deal, though. I do have another machine that I can use colored pens with. It would just be nice to have the Loklik pens for the iCraft.
Guurrrllllll, Google suggested I put masking tape around the tip. I did. It worked! After 2 years, I finally got these pens to work in a Loklik machine! Beating myself up for not thinking about that. Instead, I was over here trying to put a rubber grip from a lead pencil on them. 
I actually do that to things that dont fit the holder 
like the tools meant for cricut - foiling, scoring etc
