HTVRont Transparent Printable Sticker Paper

Hey ya’ll hey!

I have a LOT of Transparent Printable Vinyl Sticker to use and I’m happy to have it! However, I have an inkjet printer and it uses a LOT of ink making it hard for me to print my stickers on it. A part of me feels like I may be printing on the wrong one? Or am I using it wrong completely?

Somebody share their wisdom and make my creative life a little easier lol. The inkjet I have is the HP All-in-One 2800e Deskjet Inkjet. No, I can’t afford an Epson right now, but will get one in the future (someday). TIA!

Do you use the ho app? I believe if you select to print as a draft it uses less ink. It may help i know if was something I planned to try just have not yet.

Hello there,
I have a HP All-in-one Series Deskjet 3630 and had issues printing on transparent sticker sheets, especially the black ink rubbing off even after days of drying.
It’s a great printer and normal vinyl sticker sheets prints perfectly.
I tried all sorts of tricks but nothing really fixed the problem, and I tried different brands too.
I just use them as laminate sheets now to protect the regular ones until my supply is gone.
Hope this helps :slightly_smiling_face:

I have not tried that yet. I may have to give that a go.

I think that’s the move going forward lol. Once I get an Epson hopefully that will change (it seems like transparent stickers are made for those printers instead of universal inkjets lol).

Are you using genuine HP ink or cheap compatibles?
I’ve had lots of problems with poor quality 3rd party inks over the years.

I use their ink subscription so I never had a 3rd party ink in mine, still same result. Maybe the clear ones are really only meant for certain inkjet printers or laser printing. But these are just my own experiences :slightly_smiling_face:

I have their subscription, so I only use HP inks. I wouldn’t think to use a third party as I know that can cause issues with print quality.

Was just a thought. I used to have lots of problems with the compatible cartridge years ago.
I use the HP ink subscription too. It’s one of the small few subscriptions available that is actually decent value!

Agreed! I also do their paper subscription service too! It definitely comes in handy for sure lol.

I’m very sorry if my reply sounded rude, this wasn’t my intention.
You made a good point and I tried to give an example of my experience :pensive:
English isn’t my first language so my response might sound strange or rude.
Sorry :worried:

Don’t worry, I didn’t think you were rude at all, though my reply could be read as defensive.

Many people assume that the compatibles are as high quality as OEM inks, so they don’t consider it could be the problem. You seem to know enough about printers and it didn’t apply to you after all.

Anyway, it’s all good.
