I’d just like to bring up these concerns or suggestions in Loklik Idea Studio app:
•Registration Marks to be visible on the Canvas, not only when you’re in “Make”. It used to be visible in the old versions of Idea Studio. It’s more helpful for us to do layouts in the canvas if we can actually see and adjust our designs if it can be visible in the Canvas. I also hope this reg marks can be moved like with other cutting machines to maximize material use.
•If the Red Border line will be there to stay, maybe it can be visible in the canvas as well so we don’t need to adjust anything anymore in the Make section but I also hope this red line can be adjusted so as not to waste so much material.
•Material Selection should be availablenin both Print and Cut and Standard Cut. Like the ref magnet setting, it’s only visible in Standard cut bet we also use it in print and cut.
Thanks for suggesting this @timmytation ! You are right, the reg marks should also be visible in the canvas so when we move to “make” there is no need to adjust again. Sometimes, error also happens when you move it once in “Make” section.
Yes I use that too, but it’s lacking. It was much better when we can actually see where the marks are so we can maximize the material. We can place designs as long as they don’t hit the regmarks so it’s better to see where they actually are.
In the old version it was there. And maybe they can also remove the lower right registation mark since the machine doesn’t read it anyway. That space can make a huge difference to put in a design as well.
Plus that annoying red border should also be visible on the canvas so we can see what to avoid and focus on the materials and parameters on the Make area
It would be much easier to put in your designs if the canvas had these when doing Print and Cut function without having to do a workaround like what I did here
but I also hope this red line can be adjusted so as not to waste so much material.
