I know, @timmytation, I read what you said about it before and totally understood and agreed with you.
Let’s forget about fixing it by zooming in; that’s not how it works in vector programs, they stay the same size no matter how much you zoom. They should simply be smaller and clearer, and you should still be able to select one and see what you’re doing.
This is how they should appear (or something similar):
Besides, it makes no sense that in all that chaos, when I try to pick one point after selecting the Edit Point Tool, if I’m not lucky enough to grab the right one and need to try another, Select All gets instantly activated. So I have to select Edit Point again and try my luck once more.
Now that I’ve been trying to work in IS to use assets from the Library for the Sharing Feature beta testing, I’m facing it directly. I already knew it behaved like this, but I don´t need to deal with it. If it worked properly, I might edit more inside the app.
Let´s add to the list, that we should be able to convert them into curves or corners some how, select some at the same time… the normal behaviour while editing vectors. Or come out with something totally new, as long as the whole thing does the job.
Just like in corel draw, adobe illustrator, linearity Curve and other vector apps. I hope this can be fixed so we can adjust the contours to our liking
I’d love to suggest a new tool for the design platform, a “Corner Rounding” feature that lets us adjust the corner radius. For example, being able to round the corners by 2mm, 5mm, or 10mm would be incredibly useful for customising stickers, labels, or panels with a soft, modern look.
if it could be added as a separate tool so we could apply it to any existing square, rectangle.
my second request would be to be able to add a stroke to an existing square, rectangle or even image shape in the library!
Thanks for considering this! It would add a lot of creative versatility for users like me who love making polished designs.
It’s such a great way to show the LLiS design team what tools we users actually reach for and rely on. I really appreciate having this space to share ideas that can help shape future updates, thank you!
About corner radious… If you have to make them as it is right now, merging diferent shapes, you finish earlier cutting a regular corner and using the traditional corner cropper after cutting with the iCraft/Crafter… after cuting with the plotters! Sorry but it is funny.
You’re absolutely right about how cool is being able to feed the brands back directly from this, our comfy corner
thanks @redhada, I use the design features on the canvas before sending to cut, its fidley but i get it to work. it sure is a comfy corner!! love the bathtub icon lol
@admin, I’ve got one list going right now and it’s driving me nuts! I have several saved projects in IdeaStudio, and I want to edit what I’ve already saved — but the “Save” button won’t let me overwrite the existing project. The issue is, I don’t want to end up with too many versions of the same project just because the save function isn’t working properly. Now I’ve got duplicates… or even triplicates!
Also, I highly recommend adding an auto-save feature for the project you’re currently working on. It would make a huge difference in keeping things organized and avoiding accidental loss or duplication.
I’ve wrote about this so many times I forgot how many it is a simple basic step to save the same project without multiple ones just because we made a few edits we don’t need to save it with another name all over again
We brought this up in the Focus Group yesterday. Save As would really be great and that Auto Save too. Let’s see what will happen in the future updates. It’s great that the company has activities like this Focus Group, they truly listen to us consumers
Adding the preview of the text in the font selector to the wishlist. Instead of the Loklik’s phrase, it would be very useful if it showed a sample of the text, to help us choose fonts.
I truly hope to see rhinestones capability to be added soon to be able to make templates for rhinestones in multiple stone sizes ss6,10,and 16 for they are the most common for apparel and to have the tracing feature as well would make it possible to make so many images into svgs
