Have you ever used a steam cleaner?

Crafting is always joyful, but cleaning up afterward is part of the process too. :eyes:

I have used the steam cleaner mop. It wasn’t mine, it was my mom’s. We lived with her for a few months, and I would use it to clean her laminate floors. I highly enjoyed it. I would like one of my own, for sure. I liked how clean it got the floors. The only thing I didn’t enjoy about it was removing the mopping pad. Of course, it must be done, and I didn’t have a problem doing it, it just wasn’t my favorite part of the process.

I have a clothing sterner hand held one but I have thought about the ones for cleaning could be fun and make cleaning some things easier. My carpet cleaner has a heating function but not a steam cleaner.

I own a N-in-one steam mop because we have frenchies at home and it was a chemical free option to clean the floors.

I like it because it also picks the dirt and pet hair from the floor without having to vacuum before.

I honestly have a large stand-up
And a small one
I used the large one in the carpet in our camper and in our bedrooms in our house because we have cream colored carpet with the kid that’s not a very good mix and my husband as a mechanic. When I use my car on my carpet because I keep my car very clean my house may not be perfect. My car is.

I have a clothes steamer but would like to get a mop style steamer for cleaning in the house. We don’t have pets, just Bob that tracks all sorts of things in.

Haven’t used one yet but I have been eyeing to try one especially on our beds and the lazy boy that has this soft leather cover that’s not easy to clean

Steam cleaners are so good for Roman shades, cleaning in bathrooms, stoves, etc!

I had a Kirby years ago, and let me tell y’all — that thing was expensive back then. They even ran a credit check on me before I could buy it. But honestly? It turned out to be one of the best investments I ever made for my home. I absolutely loved it because of everything it could do. It wasn’t just a vacuum; it was a whole cleaning system.
The good part for me was the power. That Kirby pulled dirt out of my carpet I didn’t even know was there. It came with all kinds of attachments, and I used it for shampooing carpets, cleaning furniture, and even doing my hardwood floors. And the quality was no joke — it was built to last, not like these lightweight plastic vacuums that break every couple of years.
Now, I’ll be real: the downside is that it is heavy. You definitely feel it when you’re carrying it up and down stairs. And the price… yeah, it’s still up there. Kirby has always been a premium brand, and you pay for that. The sales process can be a lot too, because they usually do in‑home demos.
But even with the cost and the weight, I would purchase one again. It did its job, it lasted, and it was worth every penny for the kind of cleaning it gave me.
