I chose the D Style gifting for kids. It caught my attention because I like the combination of light blue and a mild yellow tone for that kind of toy. I thought it would be gender-neutral as well! However, if I were to pick one for myself, I prefer the letter E style!
So I chose D. And F. D because the light blue and pale yellow where my go to colors for my sons so it’s a nostalgic feeling seeing kids toys that way but I chose F also the reason behind this is I feel like they do need a girl based color. Maybe a light pink and with a pretty royal purple! Or a medium pink with a lilac purple!
I sad E because the orange color is easy to find and keep track of and made me think of hunter orange so in my mind that goes with safety and meaning things.
I chose option D because I think the colors are more cheerful and childlike, and F because I miss the green colors—I love them, and since it’s a telescope/microscope, I’d love to see shades of blue like the sky and green like nature. I hadn’t heard of this toy before, but I think it’s a great invention for adventurous kids.
I had to go with style D as a mom of 5 2 girls and 3 boys. I think D is best fit in neutral colors and style for both. Love the idea too! My boys definitely would love to explore with these.
I chose D and F. I chose D because of the blue and yellow pbright colors really are so soft and calming. I chose F but I’d keep the blue and replace the yellow with pink. I feel the colors go well together and my granddaughter loves pink.
I chose C and F (Other), because C just looks more appealing to me than all of the rest. F because, as others have stated, I think there should be one with more feminine colors, too.
I picked A & C, but if it was for myself I’d have picked E.
However, it’s very difficult to make a ‘good’ choice, as the age and gender of the child, together with their personality, will be the biggest factors in the decision.
Can I also say that I’ve bought two combined microscope/telescope sets in the past, and I can say with absolute certainty that the quality of the viewer image is the only important thing. The two I bought were both very poor and were never used again.
