To do the knockout method you can use the slice button. You may have to combine and unite the text before you can use the slice button. I do something similar in this video that may help you.

The LOKLiK software version in this video is an older version. I’m currently working on making a newer beginner guide as the software has changed. Some things may be in different places, but you should still be able to follow along using the new software. If you have questions on where anything is just post it here and I’ll help you.
