Theme: What’s Love In the Shadows! Inspiration crafting-love
Ideal Studio link: See What I've Been Creating...

This Valentine’s Day shadow box is a romantic, layered keepsake designed to celebrate love and connection. Featuring a warm gold backdrop with elegant heart swirls, the piece highlights a silhouetted couple beneath the words ā€œYou Complete Me,ā€ symbolizing unity and devotion. Soft pink and red hand-layered paper florals add depth and texture, while a delicate cupid detail brings a whimsical Valentine touch.

Created using my LokLik iCraft machine, this design was carefully crafted with LokLik HTV and LokLik permanent vinyl for clean lines and lasting quality. The layout, templates, and fonts were designed using Idea Studio, allowing every detail to come together seamlessly.

Perfect as a Valentine’s Day gift, anniversary keepsake, or romantic home dĆ©cor piece, this shadow box is made to capture love in a timeless, handcrafted way. :sparkling_heart:

Oh this is beautiful :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I think one photo didn’t upload before you posted this. Not sure if you wanted to edit the post and add the photo that got missed.

I had accidentally put mock up first and had to add my actual photo then mock up as @Jodie had told me to be better on my last ones and didn’t delete the entire html format of that picture before I uploaded the new!

I used an old cookie tin and put some brass colored stain on the metal and it actually worked!

Oh fair enough. Yeah I thought it was an old cookie tin. Very resourceful

This piece was inspired by the love that surrounds me every day—the hugs and kisses from my kids and grandchildren, and the steady love of my husband. I spent much of my life searching for love in the wrong places, living with low self-esteem and a false sense of security. I was once addicted, homeless, and hopeless. But God stepped in and placed my husband and his family into my life, and everything changed. Today, I have a love no addiction or amount of money could ever replace. This heart is a reminder that true love is a blessing, and I am forever grateful.

 I am in Recovery :mending_heart: and today I’m grateful to share my story and be proud :face_holding_back_tears: of who I am today and in hopes my love for life and the fact I have recovered can save someone else!

Here’s my crafting-love week 1 entry 1
What’s love? Love is light!

Theme: Illuminated Love

IdeaStudio Link: See What I've Been Creating...

Story: I created this Illuminated Love Lantern because I wanted to capture the feeling of love that shines from within. What started as a simple idea became a challenge I poured myself into — sketching the heart, doing the math, and engineering every piece from scratch in IdeaStudio until it finally stood, glowed, and felt alive. The rolled florals, butterfly, and vellum window were added to symbolize growth, warmth, and transformation. This piece reflects the patience, creativity, and light we bring into each other’s lives, which is why I made it for the Crafting Love event.

Please dm me how to make these paper flowers I love them so much and I tried so hard I googled and watched the lady who posted a loklik video on instagram made it look so easy lol :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: but I struggled for hours on my shadow box!

 Yeah, this was my second time creating them. They are definitely something that needs practice. I spent all day trying to perfect them. I’ll have to DM you tomorrow, I’m about to head to bed, right now.

I do want to say thanks for sharing your testimony. Congratulations on your recovery. God delivered me from addiction, too. I’m happy you’re in a better place than what you were.

:candy: Candy Cup Gift of Love

Created with LokLik iCraft & IdeaStudio

These candy cups are more than a sweet Valentine’s gift—they are a reminder that love, when shared with intention, can be simple and powerful.

My crafting journey began in an unexpected season of life. What started as a necessity—creating alongside my child during homeschooling—slowly became a form of healing, connection, and creativity. Crafting taught me that love doesn’t have to be extravagant to be meaningful. Sometimes, it’s found in small details, bright colors, and words that uplift the heart.

Using the LokLik iCraft machine and IdeaStudio fonts and graphics, I designed these candy cups to reflect joy, whimsy, and encouragement.

ā€œLove is Magicalā€ represents the wonder that happens when love is given freely.

ā€œSweet on Youā€ is a gentle reminder that kindness and affection still matter in a world that often feels rushed.

Each cup is filled with candy, but more importantly, it’s filled with intention—meant to make someone smile, feel seen, and feel loved. These designs show how crafting can turn everyday items into meaningful gifts, and how creativity can be a way to spread hope one small project at a time.

This is why I love LokLik—not just for the precision and ease of the iCraft machine, but because it helps transform ideas from the heart into something tangible that can be shared with others.

Sometimes love looks like candy in a cup. :candy:

Sometimes it looks like creativity in action.

And sometimes, it’s both.!
