The laser engraver is tons of fun! Do you have one? What’s your favorite projects so far?
It’s been a week for me. Doctor appts Andy anxiety in Bernal do to upcoming doctors appts. I have had a blast playing with my laser engraver stake is a lot of fun to brave on! I have more projects I want to make and am excited to get backing to using my laser engraver! I feel like I am falling short seeing some projects other people are making but then I tell myself it’s not about what why make it’s about what I do and if I am happy with it. So I am hoping to make some new things / cut some more of projects I have made like the bottle holders soon and see if the person that talked about wanting some for Christmas does so I can get them made.

I have made leather keychain glass cutting boards a tumbler and wood cuts! I have used my iPad in LOKLiK app I haven’t done the laptop yet ipad is convenient my favorite project was the Christmas ornament I designed
my oh no project was when I when back to fix something and didn’t select full and tried to line it up again and it has like double lines lol it’s still a usable slate but makes me dizzy looking at it. Along similar lines I choose a LOKLiK image and added words and I did not make sure the image didn’t have a backing so it was engraved as full image.

I don’t have the iEngrave, though it is right at the top of my wishlist. I feel I would make more use of the engrave than the cut function, as I do now with my trusty Dremel. I love to do unusual items like this stone that I found in my garden:

The 3 bottle holder is a super cute file I found I really want to make a countdown to Christmas one but so far have only seen files on esty. Was hoping to find one on a craft page.
@Judi_B, Oh wow, I love your energy—it really shines through even with everything going on! I do have a laser engraver, and it’s been such a game-changer in my craft room. Some of my favorite projects so far have been custom photo frame, bookmarks, key chains, pencil holders, and layered door sign. There’s something so satisfying about watching a design come to life with that crisp precision, right?
And hey, I totally get that feeling of comparison—it’s so easy to fall into that trap when scrolling through everyone’s highlight reels. But you nailed it: it’s not about what others make, it’s about what brings you joy. Your bottle holders sound awesome, and I hope that person circles back so you can make their Christmas extra special!
