For those who still have the Loklik Crafter, has anyone experienced issues with the machine not reading registration marks after the update? Hoping to get some answers, as I have fellow crafters who need a solution. They have tried all troubleshooting steps but are still unsuccessful.
Last month after the 2.2.3 update I calibrated both machines
The crafter did read the marks but it cuts all in not a straight way so i had to redo the calibration and it worked.
I think that’s for the iCraft, in the Loklik Crafter you’ll need to update both software & firmware to work properly. If you downgrade the firmware, you’d also have to downgrade the software because the reading of registration marks sometimes differ. The problem here is the proper pairing of which software works well with which firmware
Sorry not software, I meant firmware. V10 for the crafter seems to be the best at the moment for print and cut. Yeah the latest software release for the icraft was a bit buggy I think.
I totally agree with you. I really do think there should be a table on the software page of the LOKLiK site saying what version of firmware and software is stable for which machine and which ones are still in testing phases. Would make the consumer life a bit easier
I tried print and cut with the Crafter today, in v12 the reg marks totally failed to read, reverted to v10 it was read successfully but when cutting glossy material the cuts were very much off. With regular paper, the cut was good.
I really hope something is done since I have two Lokliks and neither will properly cut in the print and cut. Does great for vinyl bur not print and cut.
