Loklik pen - use the brush end

Hi,
I was looking for a solution to use the brush end of the supplied pen with my crafter product but could not find one. I have ended up creating my own design and now able to use the pen at both ends.
Does anyone know if this is something that is already available ?

Thanks

Aaron

I think I found some pen adaptors on Amazon and ones that you could print yourself on thingiverse.

Did you 3D model a pen adaptor?

Hi @Aaron_Bott and welcome!

I have a wonderful set of pen adapters which allow me to work with every pen/pencil of my big collection. Believe me… Brush pens are not the adecuate pens to use that function, the shape is not controlable, plus you may ruin them.

Yes, cricut adapters fit.

I always thought the same about the boligrapher that is only used on one side but since it is not a function that I use because I did not give him mind, what if I would like is a tool of repujado or the one that is used to apply foil because those I use them to make the doble lines to my little boxes but I think that in loklik there is no one that fits and I have to do discontinuous lines

You guessed well, It’s logical to a point

Some brush pens behave better than others, depending on its consistence (pentel brush pen is quite sturdy for instance, artezza is a nightmare to use so), but you may ruin all of them. Brushes are not meant to apply pressure on them…

I tested many, but I don´t intend to use brushes after, unless I need to and asume damage.
Plus you need to test a range of preasures, as they don´t act same way.

Wow cool, thanks for sharing these results. I thought the brush end wouldn’t work very well. You could always use the fine point end in the machine then use the brush after to create like a calligraphy effect, if that’s what you are going for @Aaron_Bott

That’s really clever! Did using your custom holder give you the result you were hoping for? Was the brush end able to draw properly for you in the machine?
I havent seen anything already available no.

I ordered some cricut adapters from Amazon.
They do not fit in my iCraft, just a tiny bit too large, so I am returning them.

Do you have any details of the specific ones that fit?

I’m sorry, but I don´t have the iCraft, I have the Crafter, I don’t know if they are the same diameter,
