This is our first few attempts. It seems to be good, but I am open to all kinds of opinions from more experienced friends. This way, I can take myself further. I am open to brutal criticism.

Very nice for the first time 
The picture has bubbles so you need to apply it slowly and firmly or you can try to use the wet method (YouTube).
The writing is very small I don’t this it will last long it depends on the vinyl quality I suggest to do such writings on a bigger mug and add a little bit offset to it.
Also a very important notice is
**do not putt vinyl in your mouth **
That means you have to put the vinyl down so you don’t put your mouth on it while drinking coz it’s not edible or healthy…

That’s cute! I agree with @Marino to try the wet method so as to avoid bubbles ang make pressig the vinyl smoother and the text needs to be a bit chunkier for it to last longer. You can also try htv on mugs but place it a bit lower so as not to touch your lips when tou take a sip
If your cup is dark colored, maybe opt for a lighter shade for your design to pop out more.
