Mug/Tumbler Press and Sublimation

I haven’t tried mug pressing or any sublimation projects yet (no machine to try it🤣). This mug is from my nephew’s birthday. My curiosity got the best of me hahaha

Is there anyone here knows why the design has already been chipped? We had this mug last January.

I’m really curious why this happened.

Maybe it wasn’t subli coated well that’s why the coating is chipping off?

What a great mug, but I’m also confused because of relation does not chip.

You mean if it’s is done through sublimation it doesn’t chip?

Maybe the sublimation coating wasn’t good enough, maybe the time wasn’t long enough…

I’m not sure what it was but it’s not UVDTF or Sublimation. It could of been some sort of vinyl sticker maybe

I was thinking the same thing when it started to chip off

I think it wasn’t a vinyl sticker, it was smooth and really looked like sublimation at first

Maybe a normal sticker, that’s what it seemed to be :see_no_evil:
