So, apparently, my Loklik Crafter is possessed. I started a design with the mobile app on my phone. I ran to use the bathroom while it cut—leaving my phone next to my machine. Came back right when it was finished with the task. However, it started going again. I was like, ok, it’s going to run a second pass. Maybe, it was set up for a second pass, even though I selected the “recommended” option for the HTVRONT Glitter HTV. I look down at my phone, and it’s running the next task, which was supposed to be on classic black HTV! There’s no way I pressed the button. I paused the machine, and turned it off so I could unload the mat, hoping it didn’t cut into the word I had cut on the red glitter HTV. It cut into the last letter, barely. So, I’m going to try to salvage it, but dang! Why is my machine and the app acting like it runs things around here? ![]()
The app was being wonky when I was putting a design together today pre nap I will probably be re cutting with the laser engraver the items I did make today idk if the one part I can get things placed right to fix them.
Yeah, I’m having issues with it changing the size of my elements when I hide them and then reveal them again. I also keep losing my designs that I leave on the canvas if I go to the community or if I leave the tab open, but go to another app. I come back, and everything is gone! I reported this to Elena in the FB Messenger software group chat. She said she was going to have the developers look into it. However, it’s never decided to just start a task on its own. ![]()
mine does that, sometimes. it’s a painful glitch in the machine. the glitch didn’t cause serious damage but it was enough to make me grit my teeth. Lol!
Yeah, I’ve learned to start with the top task first, then delete it when it’s finished, or I just run each task separately with only the one task on the list. It only happens when I start at the bottom of the task list. It will automatically move on to the task above it. I could place each layer’s color on my mat and arrange the vinyl and design to where it cuts on the designated vinyl, but it still shouldn’t be starting the task on it’s on accord.
I’m kind of relieved, yet disappointed, though, that mine isn’t the only one that’s possessed.
It’s good to know I’m not crazy, but it’s really unfortunate that it’s happening to others. Hopefully, they’ll get all the bugs worked out.
