Off network print and cut?

I sent this to support , any good input would be welcomed . Thank You .

Hello; This is a nice machine , It’s my first one of this type . I been trying to cut with it off network ( off line )and for some reason it’s not working . Microsoft 11 OS dose not have drivers and can’t find machine in my printer folder ? Do I need to uninstall the program and start over ? I really need this machine to work off network when I travel . If your going to start charging a monthly fee then I’m just going to toss it and buy another one. Thank you .

The LOKLik cutting machines either the icraft or the crafter do not print. They are only cutting machines so they will not show up in your printer folder. You will need a printer to do the print and cut function. You connect to your cutting machine through the LOKLik idea studio. You can connect via Bluetooth or USB. You upload your design, then press make. Connect your machine, then you send the project to your printer to print out first. Then you bring it to your cutter then it cuts it out. Before doing your first print then cut project I recommend doing a firmware update then doing the print the cut calibration. Hope this helps. If you have further questions please ask

Print ? I put the pen in the pen holder and print the text to see the layout and then insert the cutting holder and make the cut . I guess you need to be online to use the machine ? This doesn’t make sense .? BTW this is an icraft machine

Oh sorry I misunderstood when you said print. I have used my machine while not connected to the internet. The only thing you don’t have access to when you are offline is your account which means you don’t have access to your saved projects. You don’t have access to the LOKLik fonts and also the library either. But you can use the other tools like text and draw and shapes. So you can create a project and use the machine to draw and then cut it out.

So what your saying is the Loklik cutter is a scanner too to follow the printed lines it just created ?

It’s not a scanner. It just has a sensor so it can read the registration marks so it knows where to cut.
