Outlines ' problem on stickers!

After calibrate test : I am very desappointed !
Indeed, I tested stickers but the outlines are not the same everywhere !
How do you do to avoid print more en more papers ?

Thanks

I test with regular paper first before cutting any valuable material.

If you have everything updated and it still happens, you have any calibration or reading marks issue. There’s no reason for that to happen.

Lets keep in giving us more details and we can help you to find the cause and solve it. All the details and pics of the process you may share can help us.

Hello! One of the most helpful tips that I applied on my process is, The material that you will be using on your stickers or products must be the same that you’ll use on calibration. That helped me. Worth a try.

I’m sorry to disagree. Once the machine is calibrated it works nicely with any material. If with one material works badly after that, it means the machine has problems reading the marks correctly and may need reamarking them, change lighting conditions or the machine needs new calibration independent of the material.

And even before waste a whole sheet of material on that (I always calibraye with regular paper), if i’m not sure of the calibration state, I add a tiny test mark on a side cornet of my PnC design to test the status before cutting the whole design.

If it is intrincated, I PnC on regular paper and then go to the valuable material. I know the material I use with potential of marks mis reading. But never calibrate with valuable material.

Since Olivia posted that outstanding topic on callibrations tips, I think we should keep discussing about it on it.

Voici le gros décalage et je dois avouer que quelque chose m’échappe !

After recalibrating my machine, following the last test, all my lines are on “0” to obtain a well-adjusted cut!. However, I still notice that the adjustment is not as optimal as that!

Afterwards, if I look carefully at the different tasks listed on Loklik, for the outline, there is a completely black one completely filled in and a white one which only makes the outline. Maybe it was necessary to choose the white outline?

Can you show the paper with the marks?

Hello! Can you show your calibration sheet?

Hi, these results are a bit alarming. What machine are you using? Is your software up to date and your firmware up to date on your machine? When you calibrate for print then cut the results are what ever line was cut in the center. All results do not have to be 0. Making them all 0 when they are not leads to these results. I have videos that walk you through the print then cut calibration process.

Bonjour !

Watch tutorial on how to read calibration value. Also you can change the view to make sure that your contour is still align in your design

Nop, fisrt you cannot delete them, second, you need them so that the machine reads them to know where you´re design is an so cutt accordingly.

No you need the registration marks on the print out, these tell the machine where to cut.

Let me know how you go. I normally do a white offset around my design so if the cut is a little off then it’s not noticeable.

Also if you have done heaps of print then cut calibrations it might be an idea to reset the calibration and start from scratch. I found with both of my machines 3 calibrations were enough to get a good result
