Phone Heat Press & HTV Usage

I read something on the product page about using HTV with the phone heat press… Has anyone tried this? I do not have a sublimation printer, do not want to get one, and my DTF printer is currently being repaired. But I am very interested in this heat press.

Which heat press? Heat transfer vinyl can be used with almost all presses.

So the h17 can be used for some other things I have not tried htv in it personally. It’s a vacuum seal press and the film is a sublimation film that the images go on. I am just not able to say if it works with heat transfer vinyl…

The phone heat press isn’t a traditional heat press. It’s a vacuum seal heat press which requires the film to get the vacuum seal. This press shines for blanks that have curves. Because of that vacuum seal you can sublimate around the curves. If you are just using a flat blank I would use a normal heat press for it. This press is very restricted in the size of a blank that can fit in it too. Traditionally HTV needs heat and pressure to adhere to the blank. I don’t think HTV would work in this heat press unfortunately. I would use a traditional heat press for it.
