Great, thank you. I’ll see if I can get the correct date, just incase the printer fails again.

Feeling sleepy. The dang wind drove me nuts again today. Hope you all have a great week!

Yes, you don’t have to add a number, I do that for myself to keep count. Just post a comment about your mood, here, and the system keeps count for you.

Could be, but whenever I place my cardstock under a heat press, it bows, and I don’t like that. I’ll try turning it in portrait orientation rather than landscape, and see if that helps. I haven’t tried cardstock with my iCraft, yet, maybe I’ll try it today and see if it cuts the butterflies better. I don’t use white core, I have some Cricut Value Cardstock, I haven’t tried it, but I use AstroBrights, they’re both solid core. It cuts fine, unless I’m trying tiny details, like the butterflies. :woman_shrugging:t3:

Also, there’s a reply button at the bottom of the post on my screen, that I use, but if @shirleycobb decides to scroll all the way to the top, she should know she can do so by clicking the comment total, then, clicking the Dec 25 date, that way she’s not scrolling through 1500+ comments.:+1:

I think it should be fine, considering many people tape two (or more!) mats together to make a single longer mat.
Personally, for a tear like that, I wouldn’t use it in the machine, but I would cut in down to use in other ways.
I can guarantee I’d be the one in a million where it goes wrong, gets snagged, breaks the machine, catches fire and burns my house down!

Wow, you’re even doing calibration in meetings now. You’re a trooper!

:joy: Yeah, I’d probably be in that same boat! What’s ironic is, I was cutting basswood with my other machine, yesterday, and my brand new strong grip mat cracked. :rage: Not very happy about it, but I’m still gonna use it.:+1: It’s not nearly as bad as hers, as it’s still together. It’s not cut all the way through the mat, but I can still see the crack from the backside.

The saga continues with this Epson to sublimation printer lark.

I was thinking about the fact that the prints look extremely vibrant on the laser paper I did the set up and testing with, so I went back and checked on my starter kit. It seems that they sent a different manufacturer’s ink to what I’d ordered, as it was no longer stocked.

So, I’ve basically converted my inkjet printer to an inkjet printer! :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

The replacement ink they sent is not sublimation ink and now I feel like a complete and utter eejit. All is not lost though, as it’s such a very high quality 6 colour photo printer that I’ve resurrected, I’ll use (most of) the ink up making stickers and DTF film/powder hacks, etc. Then, when the ink’s gone, I should still have a good working printer to finally convert to sublimation. :rainbow:

Oh no, that’s unbelievable. Did you tell the company that isn’t acceptable and you want a refund. You didn’t get the product you ordered.
I’m glad you got it working and the printer is printing well. But still that’s a kick in the gut.

I think you’re absolutely right. I’ve just tried again to connect my Crafter via Bluetooth and it couldn’t connect to Idea Studio, so I turned the speaker off at the wall and my machine connected straight away!
Guess that means no more music while I work

Day 40 Mood Ecstatic! I received the rest of my HTVRONT order, yesterday! I now have 4 of my favorite weeding tools, and am the proud owner of all this awesome vinyl! I also have 6 large HTVRont tote bags on which I’ll be pressing some of this vinyl.:grin:

I’m also thrilled about how these resin bookmarks and pendants turned out. I used some HTVRONT rainbow chrome and matte & glossy permanent adhesive vinyls to decorate the bookmarks I poured a couple of months ago. Then I finished them with the clear resin that was leftover from my Project | Sunflower Clay Coasters – ā€œBloomā€ & ā€œBelieveā€.

The glossy vinyl threw me for a loop, though. I cut the neon pink on the wrong side, because I thought the glossy side was supposed to face downward, since the other colors were glossy side down. However, those were matte vinyls whereas the pink was glossy. :tipping_hand_woman:t3: Now I know. :joy:

Mood. nostalgic. Have sendt a job application to a small school today.
After that i have looking at pictures of my daughter from most of her childhood. I’m going to have an album made for her confirmation with pictures of her and the people and things that have meant a lot to her throughout her life until now. Our boys also got that when they were confirmed and think it’s a good memory to have.
