I was using a diffent brand of printable vinyl sticker from the ones I regulalry used and I wasn’t sure of the proper print settings to use since one setting doesn’t automatically apply to all. I tried these 2 print settings on the image and you can see the difference in vibrancy of results.
It might be a bit costly at 1st to make different test prints on different products but I think it’s worth it in the long run

I’m not sure if it’s the quality of the materials available here that’s causing these differences in print outputs. I’m also using a converted printer. There’s something to learn everyday
I feel you @timmytation, when it comes to test print, you really need to have your guinea pig sheets and jot down those printer settings for next time!..
Honestly I have always noticed a difference with setting / material but it’s also why when I choose printers I have always gone for one rated for photos…. It’s something not a lot of people think about and it actually surprises me how few people have regular printers.
In our region, the ones rated for photos are really quite expensive so us who don’t have much would go for the cheaper ones but it appears in the print settings, those for photos really look great with the right type of material
