Problem with my loklik crafter

Hello,

I’m reaching out regarding some issues I’ve been facing with my Loklik Crafter, which I recently purchased. I’m based in Côte d’Ivoire, so I’m aware that shipping and returns can be tricky.

Firstly, I noticed that the machine struggles to read the registration marks, which requires me to retrace over them. While I understand this, the bigger problem is that the marks get cut off, meaning the machine doesn’t fully register the A4 page. I thought it was just a minor issue, but it’s been really frustrating.

Additionally, I decided to invest in a new A3 printer to expand my possibilities, and after researching, I saw that the machine supports 24x30 cm, which should handle A3 prints without any problems. However, when I print, the machine behaves as if it’s still reading A4 prints. The registration marks stay on my design, even though I printed on A3. This is really disappointing because I was so excited about the new setup, only to be let down by these issues.

Another thing I noticed is that, from the videos I’ve seen on YouTube, other users seem to have access to a list of presets, like force, speed, etc. They can save these settings to avoid having to input them every time, which seems so convenient. I’m wondering why I don’t have this list available. I initially thought it was only limited to iCraft, but I see that even Crafter users typically have it. I’m unsure what the problem is and what I should do to fix it.

I would appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting steps you can provide, as I don’t want to have to invest in another machine, especially with the shipping limitations here in Africa.

Thank you for your help! :disappointed:

With regards to reading the registration marks, check first if the firmware is updated, on my loklik crafter I am using V11.

For the print and cut, i think it’s only up to a4 size.

And for the list of parameters and favorite materials, make sure your software is up to date as well as your machine firmware

Oh, I see! Thanks for letting me know that the machine only supports A4. That’s really disappointing, to be honest. As for the software and everything, yes, everything is fully updated. My machine and software are completely up to date.

I’m on version V12. I’ve seen that some people had to downgrade to version 10 for everything to work properly. Should I do the same?

V11 is good for me. You might want to try to downgrade your firmware if it will work for you.
