For our 20th anniversary, I wanted to make something bold, heartfelt, and creative. I chose the colors red and blue because those are the colors of his favorite football team. I started with the blue cardstock and cut out the front design—which I found in the IS library—then glued a piece of red cardstock to the inside so the cutout would shine through. I placed the cutout from the front onto the red background and glued it in place, giving the design extra depth.
To celebrate the milestone, I cut “20 years!” from red cardstock and glued it to the inside of the card. I used a simple school glue stick for all the gluing, keeping the process straightforward but effective. The finished card combines vibrant color, layered detail, and a personal touch—perfect for marking such a meaningful occasion.

- Blue cardstock (front cutout base)
- Red cardstock (inside layer and “20 years!” text)
- Cutting machine (to cut the designs)
- School glue stick (for assembly)

We’re coming up on year 21 in March. It’s definitely been a wild ride. We’ve been through a lot, together, for sure, but we’re still going strong.
