To celebrate reaching 50 subscribers on my YouTube channel, I created this simple and bold cake topper using layered cardstock and glitter accents. I wanted something bright, readable on camera, and easy to assemble, so I designed a clean layout with the phrase “THANKS FOR 50” as the main focus.
The topper features a glitter‑gold rectangle with a holographic play‑button icon to represent YouTube, framed with a red cardstock outline for contrast. The text is cut from coordinating cardstock and layered for dimension. Everything is attached to a single backing layer for stability, and I used trimmed wooden skewers hot‑glued to the back so it stands securely on top of the cake.
This project is quick, beginner‑friendly, and a fun way to mark a milestone or show appreciation to your audience. It can easily be customized for any subscriber count or celebration.
