Cardstock Build, Glitter Details & Hand‑Cut Icicles
For this little winter house, I started with brown cardstock to create the main structure and added silver glitter cardstock for the roof to give it that frosty, festive sparkle. I used glitter HTV for the decorative trees and accents on the walls, pressing the designs onto cardstock before assembling everything. The windows are backed with vellum so the warm glow from inside shines through beautifully.
To finish the snowy look, I hand‑cut the icicles with scissors and glued them along the roofline using a simple school glue stick. The final piece feels warm, whimsical, and full of holiday charm—like a tiny glowing cottage tucked into a winter village.
