I put together custom candy cane shirts for my little cousins this week, and it was such a sweet little project. I used HTVRont sublimation paper and printed the design on my Brother sublimation printer. For the lettering, I brought in Loklik and pressed everything with my auto heat press. One shirt was a soft 100% polyester, and the other was a rich burgundy Gildan that gave the design a cozy holiday feel.
I did have one hiccup — the sublimation hack pressed darker than I hoped, and I wasn’t completely pleased with that part which wasn’t the finish I was aiming for. Even with that hiccup, the final pieces still looked great and made sweet, festive gifts.
