Behind the Slate: A Wedding Keepsake Made with Love
This custom picture slate was such a joy to create for my goddaughter’s wedding—it’s a piece filled with love, intention, and boutique artistry.
I started by sourcing the slate and heart-shaped keychain blanks from Amazon.
I designed the layout in Canva, blending elegance and personality to honor the couple’s story.
Using my HTVRont sublimation paper, I printed the design with care and precision.
Then came the magic: I pressed the slate using my Auto Heat Press 2 at 370°F for 5 minutes.
I also sublimated a matching keychain using the same HD sublimation paper—perfect for a pocket-sized keepsake.
Seeing it all come together was emotional. The final result felt like more than a gift—it was a celebration of love, legacy, and the start of a new chapter. I’m so proud to have made something that will be cherished for years to come.
