This holiday canvas is a cheerful blend of technique, texture, and twinkle. Starting with an 11x14 canvas, I cut a stylized Christmas tree from adhesive vinyl—that I drew in my digital art app—applied it as a stencil, and painted bold horizontal streaks of red & green across the surface. Once dry, I peeled away the vinyl to reveal a crisp white tree silhouette—ready for holiday sparkle.
The phrase “Don’t get your TINSEL in a TANGLE” is layered inside the tree using HTVRont glitter HTV and Christmas patterned HTV, adding dimension and playful contrast. A glittery gold star tops the tree, and soft white LED lights frame the canvas, hot glued along the edges for a glowing finish.
This piece is perfect for holiday décor, gifting, or simply adding a joyful reminder to keep the season light.
