Project | Floral Easter Egg Painting

This Floral Easter Egg Painting started as a simple sketch I drew with my iPaint on watercolor paper using a heat‑erasable pen on hot pressed watercolor paper. After outlining the design, I painted most of the piece with gouache, using the awesome brushes that came with my iPaint machine. For the egg itself, I switched to metallic watercolor paints to give it a soft shimmer and make it stand out from the florals. The whole process was easy, relaxing, and so much fun to create. This piece combines bright spring colors, bold florals, and a classic Easter egg for a cheerful holiday design.

Materials Used:

• iPaint drawing machine
• Masking tape (to tape down the paper)
• Watercolor paper
• Heat‑erasable pen
• Gouache paints (main florals and details)
• Metallic watercolor paints (Easter egg)
• iPaint paint brushes

Thanks so much, Belle. I love it too! All I’ve got is time… and ADHD, so iPaint whenever my brain finally circles back around to it. It’s basically ‘art… but on my schedule,’ which is to say: completely unpredictable. :joy::+1:

@Franziska_Huber, thank you so very much! I’m happy you like it. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: It was fun to finally sit down, relax, and just paint.
