Project | Groovy Mama

his design feels like a warm hug pressed into fabric —rich purple lettering dancing across that cozy, heathered backdrop, with little pops of sunshine yellow and leafy green like tiny reminders that growth can be soft, not loud. The phrase flows like a gentle promise: breathe, be patient, protect your peace… and let love do its quiet work.

Now let’s turn that beauty into something you can actually make from start to finish using your Loklik iCraft and HTVRONT heat transfer vinyl

Step-by-Step: From Idea to Finished Shirt

  1. Create Your Design
    • Open Loklik Idea Studio
    • Upload your design or create it using text + elements
    • Size it to fit your shirt (usually 9–11 inches wide for adults)
    • Mirror (flip horizontally) your design before cutting

  1. Prep Your HTVRONT HTV
    • Place your HTVRONT heat transfer vinyl shiny side down on the cutting mat
    • Smooth it out so there are no bubbles or wrinkles

  1. Cut with Loklik iCraft
    • Load the mat into your Loklik iCraft machine
    • Select the correct material setting (HTV / Iron-On)
    • Let the machine work its magic

  1. Weed Your Design
    • Carefully peel away the extra vinyl using a weeding tool
    • Leave only your design on the clear carrier sheet
    • Take your time here—this is where details come to life

  1. Prep Your Shirt
    • Lay your shirt flat on your heat press or ironing surface
    • Preheat for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles

  1. Apply the Design
    • Place your design carrier sheet facing up on the shirt
    • Use your heat press or iron:
    • Temperature: ~305°F (or per HTVRONT instructions)
    • Pressure: Medium to firm
    • Time: 10–15 seconds

  1. Peel & Finish
    • Let it cool slightly (or follow warm/cold peel instructions)
    • Gently peel off the carrier sheet
    • Press again for 5 seconds with parchment paper on top to seal it in

Final Touch

Hold it up and admire your work—because you didn’t just make a shirt… you made a little wearable reminder of love & patience!
