Project | Layered Easter Egg Hanging Set

Difficulty Rating: Beginner‑Friendly (1.5/5)

Simple folds and repeated assembly make this project easy to complete, while the dimensional finish looks polished and professional.

This Layered Easter Egg Hanging Set features five 3D layered paper eggs, each created from multiple folded segments in bright, cheerful spring patterns. The pieces are assembled to form rounded, dimensional shapes that hang beautifully along a length of twine. Every egg showcases a mix of colors and designs, giving the garland a lively, festive look that stands out whether displayed on a mantel, window, or shelf.

The combination of folds, patterns, and soft movement makes this garland a charming addition to any spring décor collection.

Materials Used:

  • Patterned cardstock or scrapbook paper (various designs)
  • Twine or string for hanging
  • Adhesive (glue stick or liquid glue)
  • Light Grip Mat
  • Cutting machine

Thanks! You should’ve entered it into the Easter Craft challenge so we could see your lovely creation. This was meant as a last minute effort to try to meet the 15 entry threshold to unlock the gift card, but, unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. :disappointed:

Yes I should have. I have some projects ready for Easter, planned on doing it all weekend but hurt my neck and couldn’t move. Hopefully will get into the craft room today.
