I made this piece using an acrylic paint‑pour canvas I created about four years ago. I designed the phrase “MAKE Kindness COOL” in IdeaStudio and sized it to fit the center of the canvas. I cut Kindness from blue glitter HTV and added a small offset behind it using white chameleon HTV. I pressed the glitter layer first, then added the chameleon offset to give it a clean, bright backing.
Next, I cut MAKE and COOL from white chameleon HTV and pressed them above and below the center word. Once everything was on the canvas, I realized the chameleon letters blended into the paint pour more than I expected. To fix that, I created new offsets for MAKE and COOL, sliced out the inner letters, cut the outlines from blue glitter HTV, and pressed those around the chameleon letters. The glitter outline added contrast and tied all three words together.
I used my mini press for the whole project so I could control the heat and avoid damaging the cured paint. The final result has great dimension, sparkle, and readability on top of the pour.
