I bought this make-up brush holder from B&M for just £3, as it looked like a fab holder for my craft tools. As the caddy can be rotated, I wanted to have the design go all the way round.
I added the scissors, knife, and writing hand from the assets library. None of the included pens and crayons were quite what I wanted, so I created those myself by combining and subtracting triangles and rectangles. It’s best to make them huge, even larger than the IdeaStudio canvas, then scale down when finished, so that any slight misalignment isn’t noticeable. The arch shape was resized and warped, then subtracted from the hand, to look like fingernails.
The tip of the pen touching the text is a constant reminder to “Dot the i and cross the t!”
Made with LOKLiK Crafter and HTVRont permanent adhesive vinyl.
