Theme: Santa Hat Personalised Glass
My wife asked me to personalise a glass for her with a Christmas theme, so that’s exactly what I did! Created entirely in LOKLiK IdeaStudio using built-in Library assets only.
To start with, I isolated the Santa hat from a larger image featuring a hat on a wine glass and deleted all unwanted elements.
I added a text box and edited the text with a large capital letter ‘S’ then changed the font to ‘Kaisho Deco-Japanese-Bold.’
Another text box was created and edited with the name ‘Suzanne’ and the font changed to ‘Mama de NJ Studio.’
After adjusting the positions of the various elements, I made a copy of the Santa hat, then combined its layers with the unite function and subtracted this from the ‘S’ to reduce layering.
I created a 1.2mm offset of the text ‘Suzanne’ and subtracted the offset layer from the ‘S’ to create space around the text.
I selected ‘Make’ to cut the design with my LOKLiK Crafter in HTVRont red, white, and black, and HobbyCraft gold permanent adhesive vinyls.
The glass was washed thoroughly and dried, then wiped lightly with rubbing alcohol to remove any remaining fingerprints, etc.
After weeding the design, the layers were built using transfer tape and then applied to the glass.
