I wanted to make a fun design that can be a kitchen decoration. A lot are themed with bakeing so i changed this one uo adding my own words and added some parts.
I added my i age if settings i used i did keep it in its place and engraved it a second time. the pink engraved lighter like the color i had it set as but i wanted just a bit darker.

Very nice! :star_struck::+1: I’m also amazed at how much a little sanding can really clean up the design. I need to try that whenever I do my pyrography art. I’ve always used my Dremel to sand away the burned edges, but you can see where I sanded — I don’t like that. I never thought to sand the whole thing with sandpaper. :joy: Thanks for that tip!

The finger grit is better i honestly have found 220 and up has worked best myself.

Ok, I think I have some 220 grit in my pack of sandpaper. I’ll definitely give it go on my next burn.

What a great design. Came out really good. Lots of people use masking tape over their wood to stop a lot of the marks you get from cutting and engraving. Might stop you needing to sand the pieces afterwards, not sure.

It’s really not a lot of sanding so I don’t mind it also helps if I want to paint or stain it.
