:bulb: Tips from Our Design Team

Want to stand out? Here’s what our design mentors recommend:

:sun_with_face: Natural Lighting: Enhance natural lighting with a lightbox, diffuser, or sheer curtain—or shoot outside for softer light. Natural light best showcases your project’s true colors and design

:camera_flash: Environment : Use a neutral background (white/beige) with thematic props (fabric, wood, paper) to showcase your project naturally.

:orange_heart: Camera Angle : Position the camera directly above or in front of the item, keeping the lens parallel to the surface for a clear, complete view.

:speech_balloon: Horizontal Orientation: Take the photo in landscape orientation, ensuring the object or key features are centered. For optimal flexibility, aim for a 3:2 aspect ratio (1500 x 1000 pixels). This will allow easier cropping and help us display your project in various formats: banner, square, or original.

@Elena I think some have understood this wrong  they are posting their projects in Inspiration like the finished product and the pic from the Ideastudio as png. They thought it’s just posting here in the community :face_with_peeking_eye:

hi misshaven, just a quick note—please make sure to include your IdeaStudio project link (not the community post link) in the comments. Thanks.

By the way, if you post your DIY project in Ideastudio → Library → Inspire, it will also be automatically synced and generate a post in the community

Oh OK I haven’t checked the new update yet just seen the main editing thing.
I’ll try it later then.
Like if the tote bag tutorial I made I can share the project in the Ideastudio so others can work with it straight away right
