Difficulty Level: Intermediate
This Valentine‑ready “love truck” card began as a design from the IdeaStudio library, then was fully customized for a polished, dimensional finish. After importing the design, I ungrouped it so the original text—SPECIAL DELIVERY and LOADS OF LOVE—could be rearranged. Instead of keeping the phrases above and below the truck, I repositioned it to sit across the back of the truck for a more cohesive, graphic look. Then, I grouped the whole design.
An offset was created around the redesigned truck layout, then duplicated and flipped horizontally. Two small rectangles (made from the square shape tool) was added to bridge the two offsets, and the Combine > Unite function was used to merge everything into a single foldable card base. This allowed the HTV‑decorated truck front to be pressed cleanly onto the folded cardstock, creating a sturdy, professional card structure. Then, I added a score line down the middle for easy folding.
The finished piece features glittery hearts and a kiss mark cut from HTVRont glitter HTV, bold text in HTVRont black pure HTV, and soft pink HTV truck silhouette. The inside greeting was added using the iCraft draw function for a crisp, handwritten look without manual lettering. The result is a charming, custom-engineered card that delivers love—literally—by the truckload.
