Star Spangled and Sassy Shirt – Step-by-Step Guide
- Design Your Artwork
- Open Idea Studio design software.
- Create two designs:
• Front: “1776 America – 1776–2026”
• Back: “Star Spangled and Sassy” with bow and fireworks accents. - Size the designs:
• Front chest: about 3–4 inches wide (pocket style).
• Back design: about 10–11 inches wide. - Separate colors into layers:
• Red layer
• Charcoal/black layer.

- Prepare the Vinyl
- Place HTVRONT heat transfer vinyl shiny side down on your cutting mat.
- Mirror (flip) the design in your software before cutting.
- Load the mat into your I-Crafter cutter.

- Select the HTV / iron-on vinyl cut setting.
- Start the cut.
- Repeat for each color layer.

- Weed the Vinyl
- Remove the excess vinyl around the design.
- Carefully weed out the small stars, bow details, and lettering.
- Leave the design attached to the clear carrier sheet.

- Lay your shirt flat on the heat press or ironing surface.
- Pre-press the shirt for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
