Project | Stuff I Swear I Need Pouch

Create a playful, everyday‑essential canvas pouch using layered HTV and simple line‑art icons. This project is perfect for beginners who want to practice layering heat‑transfer vinyl while keeping the design fun and functional.

Materials Used

  • HTVRONT Pure HTV (Red) – for the main phrase (Cut using the HTVRONT Pure Heat Transfer Vinyl material option on default settings)
  • HTVRONT Blue Chameleon HTV – for all decorative icons (Cut using the HTVRONT Chameleon HTV at 7.5 force, 3 speed, 2 passes)
  • Canvas zippered pouch
  • Cutting machine (I used Loklik Crafter)
  • Teflon sheet
  • Heat press
  • Weeding tools

Design Notes

The project combines bold text with a scatter of small, whimsical icons (keys, pencil, puzzle piece, safety pin, etc.) to match the humorous theme. The mix of solid red and color‑shifting blue adds contrast without complicating the cut or press process.

Pressing Instructions

  1. Press each layer at 305°F for 10 seconds.
  2. Allow each layer to cool before peeling and adding the next to keep everything aligned.
  3. Once all layers are applied, finish with a 5‑second final press with Teflon sheet to ensure full adhesion.

Skill Level

Beginner‑friendly, with a great introduction to layering HTV and working with small detail cuts.

Finished Look

A durable, personality‑packed pouch that’s perfect for organizing all the “stuff you swear you need” — or gifting to someone who loves a little organized chaos.
